Tebow Factor: The real upside!

Uncategorized

For all the debate over whether Tebow can play it’s easy to forget the REAL and far more important upside. It beats Brandon Marshall, that’s for sure. I said awhile back that 45 Rod Smiths can win a alot of football games. There just might be something to the Tebow factor.

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

During the draft they mentioned that Tim Tebow has had a sign on his bedroom wall that said, and I will try to paraphrase this- “Hard work can beat out talent that doesn’t work hard.”

Those words seem to sum up Tebow’s philosophy of football.

He may not be the most talented potential q.b. coming into the league but now all he has to concentrate on is football. No more “classes” and such.

If he doesn’t make it in the NFL it won’t be because he didn’t work his butt off.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  2. Brilliant, as always. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with idolizing what hard work and studying can do. I need my kids bedroom to look like this.

*heads off to the Home Depot for paint & Sports Authority for posters…*

  3. Yes, the suspense of how this will work out is killing me. We will all be on the edge of our seats until September.

  4. Great Toon Drew! Love it, my Mom pointed out something I hadn’t considered. She was like, “Football is a business, and the Broncos want to make money, I’m sure they love his character and athleticism, but selling record jersey sales probably is a little up side as well.”

I hadn’t even thought of that! I doubt they think like that, but its interesting to ponder the possibility … I love Tebow, keep up the great Toons Drew.
