   All the players have is their talent to market. they run faster, catch better, jump higher and hit farther and harder than the next guy. When their bodies fall apart either because of age or injuries the value of their abilities decreases so that the new younger faster stronger whatever takes their place on the roster.

   See Tony G as a Chief.

   He gave it all and yes played as part of a “team”. The stars all want the rings more than the adulation.

   Rings equate to more money. Adulation gets you a pat on the back and some …. but it doesn’t put gas the tank or keep the lights on at home.

   We all love the next big thing but his talent is all he has to market. In the NFL the average career and I am not sure of this figure is something like 4.5 years. So yes, it is all about me. the player tries to make as much as he possibly can in the time he has in the league and some can really look bad in the process, PR wise. I don’t have to like it, because that is just how the league has evolved.

   and as fans, we buy the jerseys, eat the cereal and cheer the team because that is all we can do.

2. It’s always annoying because people like T.O. make every receiver who has caught a pass think that they can have a big ego. I’ll give it to Marshall that he was a key part of the team last year, but sports have seen plenty of guys who had only one good year. If he could perform this year, sure… but we need to make sure we aren’t investing in a flash in the pan.

3. I left a message on B-Marsh whatever.com and told him that I hope he goes to the Jets because I want him to go up against Joey Porter two times a year. Remember Peezy? He deserves what he gets after what he put this Bronco organization through. Break a leg Peezy!! If he decides to stay cool if not well… Im not gonna continue. Im officially upset now!
