Thank goodness for streaks

I know I need to clean out the garage, and the basement for that matter, but something always gets in the way.

The question of the day is:

Can the Rockies streak last long enough to put them in contention?

  1. Hey Drew

Welcome from beautiful (but windy) Casper, Wyoming. As of now, the Rocks are only a half game out of the wild card. The Dodgers are playing good baseball as well, but we have over half a season left. If the Rockies can continue to play even half as good as they are right now, we should have a very exciting September again. One positive to think about, Tulo, Smith, Stewart and Ianetta are all just now finding their stroke again at the plate, when they start getting their average up to where they should be, this offense will only continue to improve.

  2. Haha, here’s one that hits close to home. It’s been a paralyzing past three weeks with this team…glad they suddenly exploded, but I’m getting nothing done anymore!

  3. I dont know if the Rox will be able to hold on its always hard to predict baseball, its kinda like hockey. If a team gets hot during the season the usually stay hot. I am still on a bad Nuggets hangover, I dont wanna get my hopes too high for the Rox. I will still go and support them throught the season but they are not getting the respect they deserve in the national media. GO ROX, and lets have some fun at those games this summer.

  4. Drew, you always manage to work in words that I am not familiar with, what is “Clean”?

  5. Drew,

I can only wish the Royals could start on a streak like the Rox.

they are in Houston tonight so maybe or maybe not. Hope springs eternal in the spring.

    Gene
