The Last Laugh

Imagine if you will, losing to the trash talking Rex Ryan. Now imagine having to spend your entire offseason with that loss lingering until next September and you can pretty much get a sense for Bill Belichick’s dilemma.

Changes on the site.

You’ve probably noticed the big changes (a new them and a new header) I made over the weekend. I do this once a year to touch up the place a bit and add a few features now and then. Gone are the ESPN headline app (I couldn’t get it to fit in the sidebar properly) and the somewhat confusing menu. I’ve added a scoreboard so you can check the scores, a DrewTube link for the Monday Matchup Madness animations, and a fun new online Bowling game for those boring Friday afternoons at the office. Try it. It’s a real hoot. I’ll be adding a store link in the sidebar soon as I add some new exclusive T-shirt designs and stuff. Hope ya like the changes. Feel free to give me any feedback. I always want this site to be fun and worthy of your time.

Have fun out there,

Drew

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

Like walter brennan would say in the t.v. show “sons of will sonnet” it ain’t bragging if you can do it! I really don’t care for the jets- I think of them as the Raiders of the east. That is how low my opinion of them has gone. Its like Crazy Al has opened an east coast franchise and they have run amuck.

Just heard crazy al has hired his 5th coach in 9 years. No stability problem there in Oakland! I thought cable was building something out there but its still Al’s team to do with as he may.

Every dog has his day and the jets have been dogged for years by bad coaches and bad players and hype. It is about their coach and his writing of verbal checks. Eventually the bank is going to call the note. Maybe its the steeler bank of Pittsburgh, but who knows.

I like the new look. Its very clean and easy to search through. Spring cleaning is a good thing and while its a bit early you have done a good job on your site.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  2. Drew–

Great cartoon today… I laughed out loud and then promptly forwarded it to a couple of my friends who live in NY.

  3. Dear Drew,

Too bad Bill Belicheck couldn’t pull his hoodie over his head and stick his fingers in his ears.

    All the best

  4. Drew,

Love the look and feel of the new joint! Much sleeker interface.

Great toon for Hoodie, Sr. It is a long, long wait to September for him. Speaking of Hoodies, Hoodie, Jr. is the Rams new offensive coordinator. That did not take long at all!

Here is to a happy, successful, and entertaining 2011!

    Mike
