  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

Nice touch. I caught the last 15 minutes or so of the Masters. Kept waiting to hear how tiger was doing and then as I woke up I figured Tiger was finished and off the course and the young guns were out and playing some pretty good golf.

We are catching another evolution in golf. tiger will still win an occasional tournament, he hasn’t been the same since that Thanksgiving morning, bit I don’t think he will dominate the game like he used to do. He still won’t be in want for anything as he is still worth an estimated billion dollars. No tears here for Tiger.

    Loved the pun.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  2. Dear Drew,

I sensed you’d do a cartoon on the Master’s today. However in my mind I had the following mental image. I share it with you now hoping it’ll give you aa good laugh.

Imagine Tiger Woods as Maxwell Smart (from the show Get Smart starring Don Adams) he’s looking at the others who finished ahead of him in the Masters. He holds a hand up with his fingers inches apart and say’s,”Missed it by that much.”

Still your cartoon works even better than my image. Love Abbott and Costello (especially since I still own and play some of their show/routines from an LP on a record player that still works). “Who’s on First” is always great for fun though my favorite Abbott and Costello routine is “Flee Flu”

Getting ready to go back to work after a week of recovering from my surguries.

    All the best

  3. My first response when I heard who won, was “Who? Huh? Who is that?” Are we entering a new era in golf? I don’t recognize half the names anymore. (No disrespect to Mickelson, Woods, and a few others.) Give me the Seniors play – at least I’ll feel somewhat “with it.”

Longing for the good ol’ days of golf….
