I happened to be in DC this weekend to start my Great Tour (a visit all 19 MLS teams in all 18 stadia, and standing with the rowdy supporters of all 19…but that’s another story) as both George Mason and Georgetown were playing…And VCU was still mentioned as a “Controversial” selection. The City of Richmond now has two teams in the Sweet Sixteen, and the Nation’s Capital has none!

2. Good Morning from omaha,

   Someone has drained the family pool…and its not me. I want to thank Louis for his tip on old dominion? The bottom half of my bracket has been destroyed and the fault lies in one word..Upsets and Pittsburgh.I thought I was soooo smart picking the spiders of richmond. and VCU? Oh well its all in fun and while the trash talk continues. Mom do have a mean streak and nieces and nephews can pile on as well. but as I said ITS ALL IN FUN!!!!

   is it too late to ask for a do over?

3. Gene, personally I think life should come with a reset button. The good news about working from home in a one person office is there is no trash talk the Monday after a weekend of upsets in the tournament.

4. I to am a one man office and my bracket is trash except for the west all I can hope for is Duke to go all the way and they are my ultimate pick. But I don’t think it would improve my position in the Hooters Braket right now I’m in 62,825th place.Go Blue Devils for the devvil must have made me pick all the other losers.

5. Wow, I didn’t see any of this on Mark Madness, oh wait, that was the NCIS marathon and you all were watching the basketball tournament. Badger, you will have to let me know what you think of the Portland area when you get here for the Timbers.

   Most years by this point I say my picks have been hurricaned. This year its even worse and I’m calling it a Tsunami.Only 2 of my double seeds out of 6 made it to the 2nd round. I was bummed when Old Dominion and Northern Colorado were out. My only 2 longshots to make it out of the first round was Richmond (because Vanderbilt had lost 10 of their last 15) and Butler (for sentimental reasons going back to last seasons run.

   I’ve been cheering every time one of those vaunted Big East Teams have gotten eliminated. To me the Big East is this years Darth Vader. This years Oakland Raiders. The team you love to hate.

   Now I’m just cheering for BYU to win it all.
