Nuggets are on a Roll

And so it goes, on and on and on. The Mavericks looked positively baffled at the end of the game, and the Nuggets looking more like the cat who just wolfed the canary. It was a full day at the drawing board, working on tweaks to the website, a new cartoon for 9News, a Nuggets cartoon for drewlitton.com and a syndicated one for United Features as well. I absolutely dispel any myths about cartoonists who spend the day on the golf course. I hope you enjoy the changes we are making to make things a little more fun here on the blog. It will probably be Wednesday before you notice any changes.

  1. They were getting so made when it came to the physical play that the Nuggets have shown so far. Cuban’s face was priceless.

  2. Good Morning from Omaha,

Great cartoon Drew, but from what I heard Chauncey scored six, count them 6 points.

The rest of the team stepped up and played well, which is a great thing if you are a Nuggets fan.

Evidently the mavs were busy and worried about Chauncey and let everyone else go wild.

This might be the Nuggets year to make a difference.

By the way, how did the OTA’s go with the Broncos?

  3. Hi Drew – Love the cartoon. I was downtown yesterday before the game and Nuggets Mania was alive and well. All sorts of people jumping on the Nuggets bandwagaon. I just wish that people would stop jumping off the Broncos bandwagon, People are getting hurt out there -groin pulls, hamstrings, sprained ankles. This maddness needs to stop — WE ARE BRONCOS COUNRTY. I am not happy with alot of the decisions that have gone on at Dove Valley these last few months but I am a Broncos fan and any true Bronco fan knows that we are not Jay Cutler fans or Josh McDainel Fans. WE ARE BRONCOS FANS. We have been through alot of bad seasons in the past and we never left, we showed up every Sunday to fill Mile High and hopefully this season it will be the same. So please lets give the Broncos a chance before anyone else jumps off the Bandwagon. But hopefully they keep jumping on the Nuggets bandwagon, what a great season!

Thanks for letting me get that out Drew – Keep the toons coming!

  4. If the MVP was awarded at the end of the playoffs instead of the regular season, Billups would be in the top 3.

It’s nothing short of amazing what Billups had brought to the Nuggets. It’s too bad the Nuggets didn’t figure that out earlier when they had a chance at him before…

  5. Too bad horse meat tastes terrible… Ha Ha The Nuggets are going to win this one in 5, maybe 4 if we can win the first road game. The Lakers-Rockets will go 7 games and whoever wins will hit the powder blue wall the Nugs have become. Then its the finals baby!!!!

  6. The Nuggets will have a good year, no doubt, but, no, this won’t be your year. The Lakers will beat you in five, maybe six. And then go on to do the same to the Cavs.
