  1. I wish i could go to spring training for a chili dog and several beers. Wonderful way to spend a day, a week, an hour, whatever. Cant wait for baseball to start. Love the beginning of the season, full of hope and wonderment. Thanks, Drew, for a moment of drifting off to another world! Where all is good and sunny…….

  2. This is how I feel about training camp and OTAs for football season. lol I didn’t grow up in a baseball house. It was always football, golf, and the occasional Notre Dame basketball game.

Too bad chili dogs aren’t on my diet. I’m kinda hungry now. Great cartoon, Drew!

  3. Beats there a heart so still that the prospect of chili dogs doesn’t make it race? If I’m ever at a high school game, it’s the first thing I look for at the concession stand. It’s universal to all sports!

  4. Good Morning from Omaha,

Wow, its time for baseball to start or I guess it will be up and playing in about 2 weeks. the KC Slayors have won 11 games in a row during the spring. Hopefully they will continue there winning ways into the season. Sorry to say I will pass on the chili dogs. With all the choices available to you at the ball park, why not try something different. Yes the chili dog is a tradition like apple pie and Chevrolet and baseball.

    And tradition marches on.

STrive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  5. Gene,

I chose the chili dog because I thought it was funnier than the traditional hot dog. I’m more of a nachos kind of guy myself.

  6. Drew- gotta watch what I put in to the old tank- keep the old heart etc clean. I hear chili dogs can bring out the “barking” spiders night or day- gotta get some bean-0-
