  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

It almost feels like George is the missing piece. For all the talk about his illness pulling them together, they seem to be missing something. Maybe its his coaching, maybe its injuries.

I have read that the replacement coach isn’t the same as George (duh) and the team doesn’t respond to him like they would Mr. Karl.

The whole team was built for a certain style of play. George dictated that style. I read where assistant coaches are by design closer to the players than the head coach. The relationship between the interim coach and the team has changed with his ascension to the head coaching job. No matter how hard he tries he cannot be George. It just the way most teams are designed.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  2. Here we go again(singing)…….. I am not in the least bit super peachy this morning! This is what happens when the organization does not go after free agents before and during the season. I accepted the fate of this team this season. Trade JR,trade Chris Anderson, trade Nene for someone that can get the job done. Fan favorites do not win championships. Look at the big picture. The Bird gets what 6-9 points a nite? JR has the streak of a compulsive gambler he is either on or boy is he off. He could cool a hot game of craps when he doesn’t shoot well. Nene? I can’t figure him out, he is the most mysterious person on the team. Does that guy have mutiple personalites or what? Oh and AC don’t me started on him. He just plain sucks. Ok so I am heated! Just tellin the truth, and man does it hurt.

  3. SI.com is predicting the Spurs in 7. I don’t know; I don’t think San Antonio is that good (and I’m a Spurs fan). How can you beat Cleveland and Boston and then lose to the Nets?

If it is Nuggets-Spurs in the first round, I’d say Nuggets in 6, maybe 5. I don’t think the Nuggets will get out of the second round, though. You folks need George back, and soon.

  4. Seems like it’s been years since the All-Star game. Carmelo & Chauncey thought they were the 2nd coming of Jordan and Pippen. Life changes things quickly, doesn’t it?
