   I dont know when I lost interest in basketball, both college and professional. Yes I do fill in my brackets but I have NO idea who is the better teams. I do it for the fun of the competition between family members.

   I never really followed the NBA. yes I would watch Michael but that was about the extent of my interest. I watch first take over lunch and have a hard time believing that anyone is trying to compare “king James” to michael and some of the debates they get into are mostly silly.

   Maybe I am an old guy. Maybe my grandparents used to say “that joe dimaggio is good but he will never be a babe ruth”

   and time marches on, the page turns, and we can either participate in the parade or stand on sidewalk and watch our world change before our eyes.

4. I was just commenting last night that the basketball season needs to end. I dont watch sports center because it seems like NBA 24/7. Spend more airtime on Barry Melrose and hockey, more baseball highlights, heck soccer would be more interesting.

5. ESPN won’t be covering soccer after this WC is done, and they don’t show much hockey – They only promote sports they have a contract with.

6. I was at a Rockies baseball game the other day, telling someone the same thing. Why bother play the NBA playoffs, just crown the Heat and be done with it. I will be so glad if the Heat lose!
