Snubs

Those Pro Bowl snubs are downright insulting, not to mention costly.

The Broncos got 5 guys named to the Pro Bowl this year. I’m not sure how they feel about it. I mean, it used to be a pretty cool trip to Hawaii. Now it’s Miami. Now that’s known as a letdown.

Got plans for New Years Eve? Let me know what your doing. It’s always fun to hear what everybody has planned for the big night. I’m looking forward to 2010. Are you?

  1. I will face the heavy traffic, even at 3am tonight, and go to the beach. Hopefully it’s gonna be just the normal three-hour ride. I’m not a particular fan of the beach itself, but I like the laziness of the prolonged weekend, and my 15-month old son will certainly enjoy it.

  2. Good Morning from Omaha,

5 players from the Bronco’s made the pro bowl. No one from KC even deserved a sniff.

    and they didn’t get one.

should be a quiet new year around here, what with the huskers playing tonight. It give us a day

to recover from whatever happens and move on with our lives.

should be a dick clark new year, again. we hope he has recovered from his stroke enough to be DICK CLARK, but at almost 80…..

strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

  3. Five Broncos to the probowl huh? Blah! If they cant even make the playoffs no one should deserve any honers to go anywhere! Five individuals cannot lead a team to the Super Bowl!? Some team we have!

I think we are gonna have a Wii party at my house on New Years Eve, should be fun! Drinks, games, and best of all no DUI’s.

  4. Good morning Drew –

Enjoying a relaxing 3-day weekend with my 9 year old son, and watching Doctor Who reruns is the plan for my weekend (thanksfully, said Kiddo is a large fan, so I don’t feel like TOO much of a geek!). 🙂

It’s been an interesting year, that’s for sure. No matter what anyone thinks of it (positive, or negative) it most certainly HASN’T been boring!

Here’s to a new decade and new challenges!

  5. Sounds like everyone has some cool plans. Dr Who? Now that’s a show I’ve never watched but sounds like a real blast. I’ll be staying off the streets here at home. Today’s my birthday so I usually go into quiet repose on New Years Eve. I get very introspective this time of year. I’m trying to grow my business so I will spend some of the time planning for 2010. I’ve started working on a webcomic that I hope I can get off the ground sometime in the next few months. It has absolutely nothing to do with sports. I’ll keep you updated. Just hoping everyone has a happy and safe 2010.

  6. Drew,

Happy Birthday!!!! May you have a happy, healthy, successful, and artistic 2010! Hope the webcomic is a big hit. Is it your swamp-cop theme? I seem to remember you did some sketches a one-eyed alligator or something similar.

My Dad surprised me by sending me your calendar as a late Christmas gift. It is already hanging in my “office.” Love the calendar.

New Year’s Eve, I am taking the family to Disneyland, but leaving before it gets too crazy. Some people have Broncos season tickets, but we of the Denver diaspora have to make do with what’s local…

Instead of watching meaningless bowl games on Jan 1st, the wife and I are moving our storage locker to a cheaper one. I *almost* want to sit through some meaningless bowl games instead.

I am looking forward to a great year for you and all of your fans.
