Don’t know if your living room or den looks like this, but , hey, it’s a place to start. Tomorrow night most of Denver will be glued to their sets. Lakers fans, not so much. They have a way of kind of looking down on the Nuggets. Who can blame them. The Nuggets have been at the bottom of the barrel for so long most people forgot they were still in it.

Lets here some predictions Nuggets fans?

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

the nuggets will take them to the mat, but it will go 7.

I just saw on Mike and Mike that the nuggets have a scheduling conflict with the WWE on Monday night.

Now that would be a Battle Royal for the ages. the wrestlers can’t shoot and the ball players can’t wrestle.

and the fans would really be a mess in the stands. The only winner is Vince McMahon who will be paid off handsomely by the NBA to take his “road show” somewhere else other than the Pepsi Center.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

    Gene

  2. Apparently Kroenke missed the sign that says Nuggets in playoffs april through June.

  3. Denver takes one in LA, while the Lakers get run outta Denver…..Nuggetes in 6.

  4. This is the series that I have been waiting for (not really). I am not a Laker Fan but we all seen what the Lakers can do to the Nuggs. I have lived in Denver all of my life and know that the Nuggets have disappointed us year after year, even in the best of playoffs with Alex English and Fat Leaver to the dark 90’s when no one would watch them. I think the Nuggets have played batterd teams in the playoffs and have not had very good opponents, on the other hand the Lakers have been in some sort of automatic sleep mode. This is where it gets interesting; I wanted to stress again that I HATE the Lakers with a PASSION and they always find a way to get into the Nuggets heads. Kobe and the gang will be ready this series. Look at some of the commercials on tv Kobe, Lebron Nike stuff and on ESPN nothing but the most anticipated Kobe and Lebron matchup. It is all a thick plot but all with the same results. I love the Nuggs but dont see them winning this one, and if they do I will be in a state of shock.

  5. The Lakers are an interesting match-up and one I’m not sure the Nuggets match up well with. I think that we are going to have problems with Gasol and Bynum. I wasn’t too happy to see game 7 against the Rockets where both of these guys had good games. Hopefully that doesn’t wake them up and set them on a roll. I think that if the Nuggets can win game 1 then we truly have a chance to win in six. Confidence is Magic. But I’m not sure that we can win a game 7 in LA and it is going to take a lot to win 3 games in the “Can”. So if I was a betting man I would say Lakers in 7 but I don’t bet. So Lets GO NUGGETS.

  6. PS. Drew I think that you need to do a Cartoon about the whole Lebron vs Kobe and David Stern conspiracy. I really dislike the Nike commercial and as a Nugget fan it would be great to spoil this for the NBA.

  7. Kobe has had it in for Colorado ever since that Cordillera waitress ordeal (what ever happened to her?) and I believe he still is using that as motivation against the Nuggets. But I am going with my heart, not my grey matter, Nuggets take it in 4. Yup, ya heard it here first, Nuggets sweep da Lakers (I’ll be hiding if they lose a game).

  8. That’s definitely what it will look like at our house tonight! Thanks for continuing to capture the pulse of Nuggets fans everywhere, for so many years, Drew. These are great days to be a Denver Nuggets fan, whether you are a new one or an old one, so enjoy it, revel in it, and bring that energy to the Pepsi Center for games #3 and #4!

Nuggets in 6 – another series close-out win at the Pepsi Center!

  9. The thing that stood out to me was that even though the Lakers won game 7, a depleted Rockets team held them to 89 points… The Nuggets can win in 4 if they play good defense and consistant offense… I still have to say Nuggets win in 6…
