Trade Deadline

I’m back from Comic-Con and though I’m pretty tired from the experience I had a great time. I learned a lot, walked a lot and saw a lot. Some of what I saw I could have done without ( the people made up to look like Zombies walking the streets, for instance). But it was great. How is it I leave for only a few days and the Rockies completely fall apart. What a shame. Oh well, the Broncos start camp pretty soon. I’ll have plenty to draw about very soon.

  1. Good Morning from Omaha,

I hear this year comic con was fantastic- angelina jolie, harrison ford and an arrest or two. You were not the one arrested, were you?

I am sorry about the rockies, but they have a chance to put it back together while the slayoR are going the wrong way in a hurry. THey have lost 11 of the last 14 and were beaten last night 19-1 by the twinkies. Oh well, I am not for sure when the Denver Tebow’s,( what about those ugly shoes), open camp but the Chef’s start on thursday. I know its the chiefs but lately they have been playing like Chef ramsey, a lot of talk and fluster and bluster but the results are the size of medallions and not a 24 ounce T_Bone.

Maybe that will change this year.

Strive for excellence, nothing but your best.

    Gene

  2. Hey Rockies can still pull it together!!! Would like to see them get some players HEALTHY!!!! Gee the Broncos are going to be starting yay!!!! Gene those shoes are beyond ugly and they will sell like wildfire look at the jersey for a player that has not even took a snap in the NFL!!!! By the way the cartoon is awesome!!!!

  3. Thanks Guys,

It’s great to be back, Though I do think I caught some kind of Klingon Crud while I was there. Yccchhh

  4. The Rockies, wish they had beat the Padres that last game before the break. Amazing how mental sports are. Ah, they will come home and start winning again, Tulo will be back. I like this time of year, baseball, football starting up, hockey in the wind, no basketball.

  5. Sherri,

I totally agree. It’s one of my favorite times of the year too. Although, I must admit, I’m really into the whole football thing.
